L.A. Museum Opens New Exhibit of Dystopian Vehicles From Movies
If you’ve ne'er been to the Petersen Automotive repository in la, you've got to travel.
And there’s no higher time than this year because the repository discloses a replacement exhibit of vehicles from TV and films that appears cool as hell.
The exhibit is termed “Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of fantasy and Fantasy” and it’s significantly exciting for anyone WHO loves futurist movies.
The repository has vehicles from Back to the Future: half II, Blade Runner, Minority Report, Mad Max: Fury Road, among plenty of others.

One of the items that build this exhibit thus fascinating is that the main focus isn’t simply on futurism, however a very dark and dystopian whole of what tomorrow may bring.
And given everything that’s going on in the world right now, that feels very appropriate.

“Hollywood Dream Machines are the most important exhibit of our twenty-fifth day of remembrance,” Petersen Automotive Museum’s executive Terry L.

Karges said in an emailed statement to Gizmodo.

“With over forty vehicles from the silver screen unfold across the repository, the exhibit is associate degree lyric to the trade that la was engineered upon,” said Karges.
“We can’t wait to explore the fantasy and fictional ideas behind these extraordinary vehicles with the globe.”

There are vehicles (both full size and smaller production models) from A mechanism Orange, Terminator: Salvation, Black Panther, Blade Runner 2049, Jurassic Park, Tron: Legacy, RoboCop, Iron Man, and The Fifth Element.

There’s even a vehicle from Prometheus, arguably the foremost underrated sci-fi picture show of the past decade, which looks amazing.

I mean, look at this thing. It’s so big they couldn’t even get it into the main museum. It’s displayed outside.

The exhibit opens this Sunday and runs through March fifteen, 2020, thus you’ve got lots of time to see it out.
The Petersen hosts a gap reception on the night of Sat, May 4 with live entertainment, appetizers, and cocktails.

If you’re in Los Angeles at any point in the next year, add this destination to your list.

Below I’ve enclosed vehicle photos from a few of the cars which will get on the show, from the outer “Alligator” of Death Race 2000 to the sleek light-weight cycles of Tron: Legacy.
